Torrevieja as a port on the sea, among other things, has a three kilometer long promenade with restaurants, shops and opportunities to relax. The city is surrounded by two salt lakes. These lakes are well known for the soothing air and the healing powers in combination with the warm climate. The port is in the center, from there boats sail to the island of Tabarca. Every Friday you can visit one of the largest weekly markets on the Costa Blanca. Golf enthusiasts can find a number of golf courses within 10 km radius such as Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Campoamor and La Finca. The Aquopolis water park, with numerous water slides and swimming pools, is well worth a visit.
A few holiday houses that we rent out are located on the complex Villa Amalia. This fairly new complex is located in the prominent (villa) district La Veleta in the south of Torrevieja. The sea is 200 meters away and the nearest wide white sandy beach is Playa de los Náufragos 800 meters away. You will encounter this beach on the way to the center, 1.5 kilometers from the complex.

Also when you head further south towards Orihuela Costa, you will pass the sea and several beautiful beaches. At 200 meters from the complex there are two large supermarkets, a few restaurants, cafes and beach bars and a bus stop. In a relatively quiet environment you have all the amenities at hand!
The environmentally friendly ecoresidential complex Villa Amalia was completed in early 2017 and a true holiday paradise. The luxury apartments and holiday homes have a living room, two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms with underfloor heating, private outdoor space (balcony and / or (roof) terrace), a fully equipped kitchen, TV, climate control (both hot and cold air). entire house) and a washing machine. The resort has a lift, wifi, 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated) and a gym. As a guest you can make free use of all facilities. Under the complex there is a spacious parking garage. Villa Amalia is completely fenced. The swimming pools are also protected by means of fences. Your offspring can play safely outside. The complex has been constructed in such a way that the sun is optimally used. In this way, the houses also have maximum sun in the winter. The insulation and internal ventilation are well arranged, which makes it pleasant to keep the temperature at home.
